It still took more than a couple hrs to get out of the keys, but the weather was pleasant and traffic was moving MUCH better that going in. Of course, that's not saying much. Other than losing my cooler on the way north, it was a very uneventful trip. On my last gas stop, I bought a big bottle of water to fill my traveling mug, and put the bottle in the cooler. Unfortunately, I didn't tie it down well, and at 70 mph, it just blew off the back end. Pulled off to the side to retrieve it, and still found the bottle of water in the cooler, even though the top was blown off and run over. Once I got to Charlies, I was greeted by his roomie and a cold beer. Life is good!!
